Fish caught using the hook and line method are not only tastier, but better for the environment as well. Because the state of Alaska restricts the gear that hook-and-line fishers can employ, hook and line catches represent only 10% of all Salmon fishing in the state. This adds up to not only a better catch, but a higher quality product.
